Each year, as part of the celebration of the life of Joe Frazier, The Legacy Exists Scholarship fund encourages students to apply for this award opportunity. Regardless of race, ethnicity, creed, or belief, we ensure this scholarship is available to all. These scholarships can help to fund a sports program, college tuition, or a tech education program.
Eligibility
To be eligible an applicant must:

Complete and submit the online application

This includes personal information

A 400-word essay on a topic of our choice, which needs to be uploaded to the application

essay rated on clarity, grammar, content, and originality

please proofread your essay before you submit

A 1 - 2 minute video, in your own words, on what would you do with the funds if you were to win the scholarship

Be ages 13 - 19 years old

If 18-19 years old, share picture of state id or drivers license to confirm age

Obtain a GPA of at least 2.5

A professional photo, (headshot only)

School photos are acceptable

Submit an official school transcript or report card

One letter of recommendation. The letters must be written by one of the following:

Counselor, mentor, or teacher of an academic course, your employer, clergy person, or extra-curricular sponsor
